Oneeda M. Carberry

Oneeda M. Carberry, 85, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky on July 1, 1932, daughter of the late Dewey and Nona Hamblin Money. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three sons, Henry "Sonny" Cathers of Mukwonago, WI, Michael Wayne Cathers & (Nancy) of Appleton, WI and Charles "Frank" & (Cheri) Cathers of Minocqua, WI, one step son, Hugh "Sonny" & (Joann) Carberry of New Albany, IN, three sisters, Wilma Jean Muse of Nashville, TN, Joann Engle of Memphis, TN and Helen & (Tom) Foster of Corbin, KY, four grandchildren, Michelle, Teresa, Jennifer and Erin, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard J. Carberry, her parents, one daughter, Carolyn Sue Cathers, two brothers, Luther "Luke" Money and Bobby Wayne Money and two sisters, Oryula "BG" Money and Betty Sowder. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, September 25, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Whitis Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
