Oca Ellen Hatter

Oca Ellen Hatter, 83, of Liberty, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Casey County Hospital.

 

She was born April 3, 1938 in Lincoln Co., daughter of the late Thelmer and Eula Shea Sims. She was a homemaker.

 

Oca is survived by her son, Norman & (Donna) Sims of Walltown, KY; four sisters, Opal Hatter of Liberty; Oma Black of Louisville; Ona &(Junior) Jones of Waynesburg; Ora & (Jerry) Caudill of Louisville; two grandchildren, Anthony & (Teresa) Sims; Brandy & (Chris) Roy; four great-grandchildren, Dylan & Faith Roy and Blake & Landon Sims,  two great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carlos "John" Hatter; a brother, Delmer Sims; a sister, Ova Padgett and two great-great-grandchildren.

 

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Linville Hatter officiating.

 

Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
