Norma Jean Beck

Norma Jean Beck, 79, of Eubank, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born February 7, 1944 in Dott, West Virginia; daughter of the late Hampton & Vera (Graham) Atwood. She was a teacher, having graduated from Concord College, West Virginia and was a devoted member of the First Christian Church in Somerset.

Norma was a loving mother to Jenee Beck, Renee & (D.J.) Mountain, Renda Beck & (Jamie Simmons), and James & (Shawn) Beck, all who survived her passing. She raised her children with great love and devotion in Clarkston, Michigan with her loving husband, James Beck, who preceded her in death.

Norma was a loving grandmother, survived by her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 loving brothers and 2 loving sisters, along with many nieces and nephews.

Norma enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and nature walks with her dog, Maggie.
