Nell J. Bastin, 87, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019.
She was born May 20, 1931 in Imboden, Virginia; daughter of the late Mitchell Lee & Nina Bruce (Robinette) Jennings. She was a teacher and home economist.
She is survived by her son; Paul & Janice (Majors) Bastin; a brother; Earl Jennings; a sister; Jean Jennings Smith; a daughter-in-law; Suzanne Lebsack Bastin, wife of the late John Bastin; and four grand-children; Holly Bastin, Jordan Bastin Chavez, Audrey Bastin, & Samuel Bastin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Quincy Sherrill Bastin; and a son; John Bastin.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Bethelridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
