Nancy Martha Thompson

Nancy Martha Thompson, 99, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017.She was born in Mattoon, Illinois on January 8, 1918, daughter of the late James and Sarah Jane Whitter Hargis. She was a cashier for Stanford Grocery. She was a member of the Speedway Moose Lodge Post #500.She is survived by her sons, Donald McPheron and Ronald McPheron, eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Thompson, her parents and one son, Barnie Denton McPheronA funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Burial will be in Eden Cemetery.Visitation will be after 11 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.The family requests donations be made to the Special Olympics.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
