Mildred Padgett, 90, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home.
She was born August 17, 1933 in Kings Creek, Kentucky; daughter of the late John Hardison and the late Thelma (Fields) Martinez & (his late Step-Father, Ramiro Martinez). Mildred was a homemaker and a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Michael Martinez; sisters-in-law, Juanita Jones & Maxine Hoseclaw; and a dear friend, Linda Crawford.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Padgett, to whom she was married August 3, 1964 until his passing on September 21, 2005; brothers, Kenneth Hardison & Ray Hardison; and a nephew, Michael.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. John McPheron & Bro. David Gambrel officiating.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 12:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
