Maxine Black

Maxine Black, age 81 of Science Hill, KY, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Somerset Nursing and Rehab Home in Somerset, KY. She was a homemaker and was a charter member and Sunday School Teacher of Northside Baptist Church in Science Hill, KY. She loved music and loved to sing.

She was born November 14,1937 in Science Hill, KY, daughter of  the late Dolphus and Freeda (Wiles) Dick. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harold, one sister Bobbie Casada, and one son-in-law Roy Spears.

She is survived by four children –Bonita (Casada) Spears of Somerset, KY; Eddie Casada (Tracy) of Somerset, KY; Frank L. Casada II (Nancy) of Bronston, KY and Randy Casada (Sandy) of Somerset, KY; one sister Brenda (Bob) Kendrick, grandchildren – Cassandra (Casada) Daniels, Nick Casada, Amanda (Casada) Osborne, Jami Ashley, Tiffany (Spears) Bertram, Drew Casada and Shauntay (Casada) Huddleston, and many great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, KY with Bro. David Muse officiating.

Visitation will be after 12:00 Noon Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Interment will follow the funeral service in the Science Hill Cemetery in Science Hill, KY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Northside Baptist Church, Science Hill, KY.
