Mary Elizabeth "Midge" Osborne, 96, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018.
She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on July 3, 1922, daughter of the late H.W. and Adeline Thompson Carter. She was a homemaker and a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Osborne of Somerset; one daughter, Shirley Roberts of Mt. Vernon, KY; five grandchildren, Connie Graham of Mt. Vernon, KY, Sandy Pierce of Nicholasville, KY, Sonia Huff and Shawna Stringer, both of Somerset and Sherri Vance of Bowling Green, KY; seven great-grandchildren, Ryan Graham, Lauren Gray, Lexie Brown, Bailey Jones, Abigail Corder, Katherine Corder and Caleb Stringer and five great-great-grandchildren, Maddix Roberts, Sawyer Roberts, Elliott Graham, Declan Graham and Oakley Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barkley Osborne; her parents; one son, Lyndell Osborne; brothers and sisters, Lorenza Carter, Beckham Carter, Richard "Tom" Carter, Edgar Carter, Elzenia Morgan, Maon Carter, Erma Adams, Hassle Carter and Gladys Smith; two grandchildren, Terry Osborne and Pamela Roberts and one great-great-grandchild, August Graham.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffin, Bro. Don Jones and Marvin Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
