Mary Sue Muse

Mary Sue Muse, 94, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at The Neighborhood of Somerset.

She was born November 5, 1928 in Somerset; daughter of the late Orville & Mary (Dowd) Tucker. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Somerset.

She is survived by a son, Michael & (Jackie) Muse of Sebring, Florida; two daughters, Sandra & (Wendell) Denney of Somerset and Becky & (Ernest) DeBord of Science Hill;  six grandchildren, Jon Hardesty, Chris Hardesty, Kim & (Steve) Adams, Mark & (Allen) Muse, Matthew & (Lisa) Hardwick, and Mary Allison & (Andrew) Cobb; fifteen great-grandchildren, Grace, Garrett, & Katelyn Hardesty, Jeremy Muse, Brandon Tingle, Cody Hyden, Katelyn, Madison, Trinity, & Elijah Hardwick, and Donna, Daniel, Bay, Elenore, & Nicholas Cobb; and a cousin, Mike Tucker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irvin Lawrence Muse; two brothers, William and Boyd Tucker; and a sister, Christine Wallin.

A funeral service will be held 1:30 PM Monday, August 21, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Pendley officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Monday, August 21, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
