Martha Blevins

Martha Singleton Blevins, 90, of Eubank, passed away, Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in Eubank on April 30, 1933; daughter of the late Clyde E. & Edna (Clark) Singleton. Martha was a member of the Briary Union Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was united in marriage in 1951 to the late Herbert Blevins; from this union were born 6 children. She loved her Lord and Savior and all of her church family.

She is survived by 5 children, Thomas, Tim, Bruce, Tammie, & Paula; siblings, John Singleton & Judy Williams; 9 grandchildren, TJ, Scott, Veronica, Angie, Leshia, Christy, Lance, Brandi, & Richard; 18 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Cane, Brianna, McKenzie, Sheyanne, Caleb, Madison, Noah, Aspen, Paige, Keria, Nickolas, Max, Ethan, Skyler, Raven, Logan, & Xariah; some step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Blevins; one daughter, Lora Fair; siblings, Jerry Clyde, Thelma, Ruby, Esther, Lester; and one grandson, Derek Fair.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
