Margaret Madeline Vaught

Margaret Madeline Vaught (Spears), 85, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on May 7th, 2026 at home in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Madeline was born on October 28th, 1940 to the late William Henry Spears and Susan Avelene Spears in Eubank, Kentucky where she was raised with her younger sisters, Mary Faustine (Floyd) Weddle, Loeda (Raymond) New and Donna (Delmer) Ashley. She married Carroll Lee (Hob) Vaught November 28th, 1959.

She is survived by their two children, James (Brenda) Vaught of Florence, Kentucky and Melanie (Craig) Binder of Cincinnati, Ohio, her grandchildren, Brandon (Bekkah) Vaught, Nicole (Chad) Smith, Sarah DuPuy (Stephen) Rasmussen, step grandchildren Angi and Craig Binder II, great grandchildren, Briana, Brayden, Madison, Lily, Shepherd, Isabella, Savannah, Angelina, Carson and great-great granddaughter, Rylee. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating.

Burial will be at the Bethelridge Church Church.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time for services.
