Mae Maggard

Mae Maggard, age 101 years, 2 months and 20 days, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019.

She was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on October 13, 1917, daughter of the late Elzie and Nellie Whitaker Joseph. She was a member of Eubank Church of Christ.

She is survived by her three granddaughters, Julie Ann & (Tony) Raines of Eubank, Vickie Lynn & (Gary) Lanigan of Eubank and Yvonne & (Keith) Caudill of Waynesburg, three great-grandchildren, Jeannie Christie Lanigan of Berea, KY, Denton Keith & (Kaitlyn) Caudill of Waynesburg, Garrianna Lynn & (Nathan) Cooper of Irvine, four great-great-grandchildren, Kaleb Allen Smith, Mason Cecil Hugh Smith, Norah Mae Cooper and Abram Eugene Cooper

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jason Campbell, her second husband, Arvil Maggard, her only child, Edgar Willis Campbell, her daughter-in-law, Christine Wilson Campbell, her only grandson, Edgar Willis Campbell, II her parents and her siblings, Daniel Boone Joseph and Gladys Joseph Luthcke.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 4, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Robins officiating.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Denton Caudill, Keith Caudill, Gary Lanigan, Nathan Cooper, Jeannie Lanigan and Garrianna Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaleb Smith, Mason Smith, Norah Cooper and Abram Cooper.

Visitation will be after 11 AM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
