Madelyn Menard Trombly 84, of So. Boston VA, formerly of Science Hill KY went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2020.

Madelyn was born may 14, 1936 in Montpelier VT to the late James Raymond Menard and Minnie Venner Menard.

Madelyn was a bookkeeper by trade, and she and her husband Leo owned and operated several businesses during her lifetime. Later in life Madelyn enjoyed her volunteer work at Lake Cumberland Hospital. She was a member of St. Mildred's Catholic Church in KY.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and love of her life, Leo N. Trombly, sisters Helen Conner, Norma Ferry and brothers John and James Menard.

Madelyn is survived by her daughter Janice T. Douglas and husband David of Clarksville VA, and son son Brian J. Trombly of Morongo CA, many grand and great grandchildren. She is also survived by a nephew, Michael & (Cindy) Conner of Hamden, CT and nieces Bonnie Staples (Robert) of Science Hill, KY, Linda Rossi (Michael) of Somerset, KY, Marsha Weis (Daniel) of Green Cove Springs, FL and Susan Goode (Ronald) of Southington, CT.

A Memorial Service will be held on October 2 at 2pm in the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Hwy 27, Science Hill, Ky.
