Lynda Joan Ball

Lynda Joan Ball, 76, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023, at her residence.

She was born November 8, 1946 in Somerset; daughter of the late Lewis & Ruth Catherine (Smiley) Ball. She retired from Target after 40 years of employment. Lynda loved scrap booking, reading comic book strips, and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed following her faith and watching Joyce Meyers. Although she didn't have any children, the impact she had in raising her nieces & nephews was much like a mother. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her nieces & nephews, Henry "Hank" & (Brenda) Nally, Richard & (Janine) Baker, Jr., Charles Matthew & (Amanda) Baker, Ruthanna Joan & (Shannon) Carter, Rebecca Lewis Beard, and Phillip & (Sabra) Ball and several great-nieces & great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Anna  Ayscue, Constance Lewis Davis, and Daniel Ball.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Friday, May 12, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
