Luther Roberts, Jr., 73, of Eubank, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at his residence.
He was born July 10, 1946 in Wayne County; son of the late Luther & Lula (Decker) Roberts, Sr. He was a farmer all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Poynter) Roberts, whom he was married for 55 years; two sons, Danny & (Kim) Roberts, Edward & (Rebecca) Roberts, both of Eubank; three foster sons, Brandon & Bradley Wilson, & James Elliott, all of Eubank; two daughters, Carolyn Roberts and Sherry & (Chris) Nicely both, of Eubank; two brothers, Columbus & John Roberts, both of Ohio; a sister, Polly Dowell, of Waynesburg; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Robert Pitman, Floyd Pitman, Lisco Hammonds, Tyler Roberts, & Cas Roberts.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Haggard officiating.
Burial will be in Eden Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
