Lula P. Bowman, 80, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born January 6, 1941 in Beech Grove, Kentucky; daughter of the late Edward & Daisy (Neikirk) Hall. She worked as a supervisor for RCA and was also a hairstylist. She was a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church.
She is survived by two step-sons, Steve & Tim Bowman, both of Florida; three brothers, Carl Hall of Rockville, Indiana, Bert Hall of Science Hill, and Charles Hall of Somerset; a sister, Paula Hall Wesley of Somerset; a brother-in-law, Howard Godby; and several nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alonzo Bowman; a brother, Donald Hall; and a sister, Mary Hall Godby.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Darin Godby officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
