Lucy Lefler

Lucy Marie Lefler, 95, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2025 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab.

Lucy was born on December 7, 1929 to the late Homer & Ada (Osborne) Lefler in Pulaski County, Kentucky. She loved talking on the phone and visiting with friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Osborne; her grandchildren, Sonia (Kevin) Huff, Shawna (Stephan) Stringer, and Sherri (Butch) Cole; her great-grandchildren, Caleb Stringer, Abigail Corder, and Katherine Corder; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Homer (Jewel) Lefler, Richard (Marge) Lefler, and Harry Lefler; sisters, Virginia (Melvin) Neely, Edith (Claude) Campbell, Lena (Bishop) Cox, Anna Lee (Willis) Cloud, Beatrice Lefler, Dot (Luther) Dick, Tina Gregory, and Vada Lefler; and a son-in-law, Lyndell Osborne.

A funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Tyler Ford officiating.

A private family burial will be at Buncombe Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until time for service.
