Lou Ethel Dick, 83, of Science Hill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the Neighborhood of Somerset.
 
She was born May 5, 1938 in Ansel, Kentucky; daughter of the late Dewey Thomas & Edna Mae (Wesley) Hodge. She worked as a bank teller for Cumberland Security Bank and was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Lori & (Jeff) Howard of Bronston; four sisters, Eva Wiles of Science Hill, Elsie & (Carl) of Warren of Science Hill; Elaine & (Troy) Merrick of Science Hill, and Glenda McCorder of Bethelridge; two grandchildren, Tanner Marshall of Somerset and Robyn Dick of New Orleans; and three great-grandchildren, Will, Carter, and Chloe.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William C. Dick; and a son, William "Billy" Ray Dick.
 
A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Merrick officiating.
 
A private graveside service will be held.
 
Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
