Lois Elaine Wilson

Lois Elaine Munsey Wilson, loving mother, sister, and friend, age 73, passed from this life on Thursday, May 2, 2019.

She was born in Kenton Co., Kentucky on November 3, 1945 to the late Reverend Claude and Viola Hinkle Munsey. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 47 years, MSG Russell D. Wilson.

She was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and an active member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church. As well as her faith, she was involved in the Pedal Pusher sewing group. She enjoyed her family, church, quilt shows, and crafting handmade quilts. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her three children; Anita Wilson and her children Derrick and Jacob; Donna & (William) Cox and her children, Barron and Liam; Darren & (Renee`) Wilson and his children, Lane, Toby, and Dawn; her brothers, Ellis & (Maggie) Munsey, Donald & (Wanda) Munsey, Ray & (Willie) Munsey; her sister, Faye & (Ertis) Roy, as well as many nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Donavon Burton officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday, May 6, 2019 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
