Lois Wilson Cooper, 96, of West Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her daughter's home.She was born in Ansel, Kentucky on September 9, 1921, daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy Wesley Wilson. She graduated from Eubank High School in 1939, and then graduated from Spencerian. She worked for Darrell Hall at the Pulaski County Courthouse, the railroad in Louisville, and First & Farmer's Bank. She became a Christian at an early age.She is survived by three daughters, Jeanne Cooper & (Darrel Story), Joyce & (Mike) Wesley, and Glenna & (Keith) Adams, three grandchildren, Kimberlee & (Galen) Brooks, Ben & (Jessica) Adams and Sam & (Melissa) Adams, four great-grandchildren, Luke, Ezra, Quinn, and Haddey Adams, a step great-granddaughter, Kailey Brooks, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee "Jack" Cooper, whom she married on February 14, 1948 and who died on August 6, 2013, and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Morris & Hislope with Bro. Scott Hughes officiating.Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.Visiation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.The family requests donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
