Linda Lou Spears

Linda Lou Spears, 84, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on July 23, 2026.

Born on February 22, 1942, in Casey County, Kentucky, Linda lived a life full of strength, resilience, and love for her family. She was known for being a true spitfire-never afraid to speak her mind and always keeping those around her on their toes. There was never any doubt that beneath her feisty spirit was a heart full of love. If you were one of her people, you knew she loved you deeply.

Linda is survived by her devoted daughter, Debbie (Jerry) Byrd (nee Spears); her cherished grandchildren, Nichole (Todd) Witt and Krystal (Kevin) Wagoner; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Sophia Witt, Dillon Witt, Hudson Witt, Dean Wagoner, and Whitney Wagoner, all of whom brought her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Troy and Bertha Hodge; her beloved sons, Dexter Lewis and Clifford Lee; and her sisters, Devonda, Genevieve, and Shelva.

Linda's greatest accomplishment was the family she loved so fiercely. She leaves behind countless memories of laughter, strength, stubbornness, and unconditional love. Her legacy will live on through the family she cherished and the lives she touched throughout her 84 years. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she passed peacefully at home. She will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
