Lester Clark

Lester Gene Clark, 83, of Bethelridge, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born on May 7, 1936; son of the late Stanley B. and Martha Dean Randolph Clark. He was a retired Gate Hauler, and a member of Valley Oak Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Godbey Clark; a son, Franklin Gene Clark of Bethelridge; two daughters, Charlene June Hall and Jenny Lavon Girdler both of Science Hill; two brothers, Chester B. Clark and Dwayne B. Clark both of Somerset; two sisters, Lavene Baker of Cincinnati, and Betty Harness of Indianapolis; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Frankie Lee Clark, and Bobby Clark; and a sister, Gloria Clark.

A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Valley Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Blevins and Bro. Jimmy Thompson officiating.

The family will receive friends after 5 PM Saturday, until time for services at Valley Oak Baptist Church.
