Leo Ronald Bingham, 81, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on August 27, 1944 to the late Glen & Lilly (Black) Bingham in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Ronnie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially hunting and fishing during the years he was able. He had a keen appreciation for craftsmanship, collecting pocket knives and belt buckles, and was especially talented with his hands-able to whittle remarkable creations from wood. He dedicated much of his life to his work, spending 34 years at Oran's Service Station before retiring after 10 years with Monroe's Pallets. Above all, he cherished his family, who were the true center of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Dye) Bingham, whom he married on October 24, 1963; his children, Tommy & (Anita) Bingham, Dale & (Angela) Bingham, Ronda & (Jeff) Nolan, and Lisa Pumphrey & (Pat Masten); grandchildren, Robert Bingham, Alecia Floyd, Ashly Moore, Stephanie Hensley, Aubrey Loveless, Zoey Whitt, D.J. Pratt, Mark Robinson, Destiny Stewert, and several other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Rylan McArthy, Madilynn Bingham, Trysten Moore, Landon Moore, Raelynn Floyd, Gracie Floyd, Cheyenne Floyd, Liam Hicks, and several other great-grandchildren; a cousin, Marvin Ray; and his two dogs, Little Bit and Hank.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Thelma Miller, Mary Bingham, Irvin Bingham, Nellie Bingham, Gerald Bingham, Buddy Bingham, and Jerry Bingham.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Barron officiating.
Burial will be at the Bingham Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
