Eubank, Kentucky
Leland Ruckel, 80, of Eubank, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 10, 1943 in Pulaski County; son of the late Henry & Ruby (Spaw) Ruckel. Leland worked as a lathe operator and was a member of the Polly Ann Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Christopher Douglas & (Brenda) Ruckel and John Phillip Ruckel; sisters, Jane & (Tommy) Acres and Jean Daniels; sisters-in-law, Peggy, Donna, Emma and Doris; and one grandchild, Christy Alexis Ruckel.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry & (Evelyn), Lewis, Lloyd, Leonard, & Linville Ruckel; a sister, Juanita & (Coy) Back; an infant brother, Winford Ruckel; and a brother-in-law, Bill Daniels.
A funeral service will be held 3:30 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Holt and Bro. Jonathan Grizzell.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
