Homer Lee Godsey

Homer Lee Godsey, 73, of Eubank, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville surrounded by family.

He was born March 11, 1949 in Somerset; son of the late Charles Willie & Delia (Jasper) Godsey. He was a carpenter and was of the Christian Faith.

He is survived by his wife Cordelia May (Hoseclaw) Godsey; three daughters, Janet Randall of Eubank, Paula Russell & (David Dick) of Science Hill, and Angela & (James) Cress of Eubank; three brothers, Gene Godsey, Bob & (Betty Jo) Godsey, and Tom Godsey, all of Science Hill; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Godsey and James "Ed" Godsey; and a sister, Patsy Ann Godsey.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Richard West officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
