Lana Marlene Kemper Holtgrefe

Lana Marlene Kemper Holtgrefe, 74, of Science Hill, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Somerset, June 25, 1944, daughter of the late Chester Donald & Eula Doris (Wright) Kemper. She worked as a beautician and was a member of Polly Ann Church of God, however, also attended Science Hill Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by a daughter; Phyllis & (Mike) Epperson of Somerset; an Aunt, who she considered a sister; Brenda Patrick of Science Hill; four Grandchildren; Jeremy Scroggs McDonald, Chris Murray, Amanda Murray, & Michael Hulgin; two Step-Grandchildren; Amanda & (Chris) Tynan, & Ashley Epperson; and five Great-Grandchildren; Skyler Stephens, Savana Groves, Salina Casada, Caden Hulgin, & Annaka Tynan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; Albert Eugene Murray; and her second husband; Dennis John Holtgrefe and a daughter, Veronica Murray.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Dr. Curtis Sellers officiating.

Visitation will be held after 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
