Kevin Anthony Jones

Kevin Anthony Jones, 29, of Russell Springs, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 in Troy, Michigan.

He was born on March 19, 1997 in Somerset, Kentucky to Timothy Jones & Gloria Floyd. Kevin found joy in the simple things in life. He enjoyed listening to music, spending time outdoors, and especially loved fishing. He treasured the time he spent working alongside his dad on cars and was a talented welder who took pride in his craft. Above all, Kevin cherished every moment with his nieces and nephews, who brought him endless happiness. Known for his playful spirit and goofy sense of humor, he had a way of making those around him laugh and will be remembered for the smiles he shared and the joy he brought to others.

He is survived by his parents; his step-dad, Jeff Milburn; his brothers, Darren & (Dakota) Jones, William & (Destiny) Smith, Jacob Jones, Charlie & (Alle) Jones, Wendell & (Destiny) Jones, Timothy & (Hannah) Jones Jr., and Andy Jones; his sisters, Theresa Jones, Mary & (Cody) Colwell, and Amy & (Eli Latham) Jones; his grandmother, Lois King Jefferson; his nephews, Richard, Tanner, Wyatt, Charles, Aiden, Asher, Karsyn, and Harrison; his neices, Justina, Sofia, Morgan, Melody, Athena, and Aurora; his cousins, Johnny Lee, April, and Danny Allen; his aunts, Lois & (Johhny) Smith, Delphi & (Sonny) Stephens, and Judy & (Rocky) Bowling; his uncles, David & (Tasha), and Justin & (Kayla) Jefferson; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Justina Marie Jones; his step-mom, Sara Jones; and several aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Sister Theresa Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (EST) until time for services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form in donations to the Kevin Anthony Jones Memorial Fund c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
