Kenny Wesley

Kenny "Papaw" Wesley, 65, of Science Hill, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Kenny was born January 15, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Raymond and Velma Jean Wesley. Kenny was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. He loved his grandkids and had a passion for horse riding.

Kenny leaves his wife, Carol Wesley, whom he married April 9, 1977; a daughter, Trina & (Greg) Stephens; a son, Raymond & (Missy) Wesley; two grandkids, Curtis & (Haley) Stephens and Kayla & (Dylan) Copeland; two great-grandsons, Adler and Rhyker Copeland; his mother, Velma Jean Wesley Spaw; a sister, Beverly & (Ron) Scalf; mother-in-law, Geraldine Warren; and a sister-in-law, Sherry & (Larry) Warren.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wesley; two brothers, Steve Wesley and Roy Dick; his fathers-in-law, Junior Phelps and James Warren; step-dad, Claude Spaw; and a nephew, Justin Dick.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Randolph officiating.

Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Kenny Wesley Memorial Fund.
