Karen Nicole Ware

Karen Nicole Ware, age 34, of Eubank, KY, was called to be with her Lord and Savior on December 30, 2019. Heaven gained Karen after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.

Roger and Kathy Pittman were blessed to share with the Lord the birth of Karen on March 29, 1985, in Somerset, KY. Karen has one sister, Angel Hopkins.

Karen was married to her high school sweetheart for 14 years, Nathan Ware. Karen and Nathan had a bond like no other. The greatest joy has been their daughter, Nicole Marie Ware, age 5.

Karen’s priorities revolved around family, friends, faith and her career, she enjoyed. Karen graduated from EKU with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Karen believed if you can’t help all at least help one.

The triumphant belief Karen held was “God is good all the time while walking through faith, even through any hardships.” Eubank Baptist Church was her home church.

Karen is survived by her husband, Nathan Ware, and treasured daughter Nicole Ware, age 5; parents, Roger and Kathy Pittman; sister, Angel Hopkins (Dallas); in-laws, Dale and Berta Ware; sister-in-law, Tressa McElroy; and maternal grandfather, Vernon Deaton, all of Somerset. Treasured nieces and a nephew are also survivors.

Karen is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Goldie Marie Pittman; paternal grandfather, Carl Phillip Pittman; a maternal grandmother, Alberta Price; and a close friend, Lisa Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Hughes officiating.

Burial will follow in Woodstock Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 PM Friday, January 3, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers Karen's wishes were for expressions of sympathy to take the form of donations to the Nicole Ware Education Fund.
