Karen Leah Muse

Karen Leah Muse, 79, of Science Hill, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on February 1, 1941 in Covington; daughter of the late Gustav William & Helen Jane (Hunter) Hoffman. She was a homemaker and member of Somerset Community Church. She had a great love for people, animals, & music.

She is survived by her husband, Charles "Russ" Muse; three sons, Michael David Hoffman of Florence, Kentucky, Martin Daniel Hoffman of Huntsville, Alabama, & Chadwick Glen Muse of Cincinnati; a brother, Michael Hoffman of Eubank; two sisters, Anne Craig Tackett of Eubank & Mary Beth Brown of Ashland, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Marin, Sally, & Sawyer; an uncle, John C. & (Barbara) Hoffman of Ohio; and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Kieran Hoffman.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bros. Jeff Whitis & Joe Altman officiating.

Visitation will be after 12:30 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
