June Webb (Todd) Osborne, 82, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at her residence.
She was born in Stanford, Kentucky on May 27, 1943, daughter of the late Ernest & Opal (Vanover) Webb. A 1961 graduate of Eubank High School, she subsequently attended the University of Kentucky where she earned her Master's Degree in Education and Rank 1 certification.
A dedicated educator, she taught for 27 years in the Pulaski County School District and was honored as Kentucky Teacher of the Year, a testament to the lasting impact she had on generations of students. She treasured many notes and messages she received over the years from students who loved and appreciated her, and was often greeted by former students eager to reminisce. Following her retirement from teaching, she continued her life of service by carrying mail for the United States Postal Service, where she formed many cherished friendships along her routes.
June was a beloved matriarch whose life was defined by service, strength, and unwavering love for her family and community. She found great joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life- spending holidays with her large family, canning and making jam, and sitting on the back porch with her dear husband, Robert. She was both supported by and deeply devoted to her family, always placing their needs above her own. She often noted that no workday was so hard that a good shower and a warm meal couldn't make things better, and she approached life with that same resilience and quiet wisdom.
Unfailingly loyal, patient, optimistic, and kind, June was a tireless worker and a warrior in her health battles, meeting each challenge with courage and grace. She carried not only her own burdens but also the worries of those she loved, offering comfort and strength in every season of life. Her legacy is one of enduring love, selflessness, and a life well lived in service to others.
She is survived by her sons, Bryce & (Laura) Todd and Michael Todd of Somerset, Kentucky; her daughter, Anne & (Darren) McKnight of Nashville, Tennessee; grandsons, Brandon Todd, Peyton Todd, Ramsey (RJ) Todd, Jonathan Todd, Zachariah Todd, & Desmond McKnight; granddaughters, Courtney Willoughby, Samantha Warner, Carrie Todd, Regina Todd, Gabrielle McKnight, & Victoria Todd; and 17 great-grandchildren; as well as her siblings, Byron Webb, Joyce Ard, Perry Webb, Lynn Webb, Bobby Joe Webb, and Debbie Blevins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Osborne; siblings, Jacqueline Webb, Virginia Webb, Emogene Mayfield, Walton Webb, Vilas Webb, and Gilbert Webb.
The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 AM and a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Double Springs Cemetery.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to a very special caregiver, Rose Jones and to Hospice of Lake Cumberland for the compassionate care and comfort they provided to June.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
