Judy Vaughn, 60, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at her residence.
She was born May 6, 1963 in Pulaski County, Kentucky; daughter of the late Londis Elza & Carolyn Sue (Poynter) Carlton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. Judy loved the beach, animals, and farming. Most of all she loved her grandbabies and being a grandmother to them. Judy loved her family, especially her nieces & nephews.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Vaughn; a daughter, Whitney Carlton; her two grandchildren, Makynna Denney and Liam Carlton; siblings, Beverly & (Richie) Anderson, Jimmy & (Marsha) Carlton, Paula & (George) Gilliam, Leca & (Caleb, Jr.) Napier, David & (Teresa) Carlton, Steven Carlton, Kevin Carlton, and Nathan & (Jessica) Carlton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating.
Burial will be in Short Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
