Judy Downey

Judy Downey, 70, of Science Hill, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born March 15, 1952 in Indianapolis; daughter of the late J.C. & Thelma (Downey) Lawson. She worked as a CNA for many years and loved her job and residents dearly! Everyone knew her as a good aid! Chances are if she wasn’t working on a weekend you could find her at one of the local dance halls boogying! She was a collector of all things Campbell's Soup! She leaves behind her son, Kenneth Redden and daughter, Chastity Redden; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends! Judy was preceeded in death by her husband, J.C. Hatfield and sons, Jerome and Shane Redden. Private services will be held.
