Judith Carol Fisher

Judith Parris Fisher, of Science Hill KY, daughter to the late Raymond and Margaret Parris, was born in Frankfort, Ky on October 25th, 1942 and was received into heaven on November 28th, 2023. Judy was 81 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Donald Thomas Fisher and daughter Donna Kay Fisher.

Judy leaves behind one son, Joey Scott Fisher (and his wife Ashley) of Science Hill, Ky. Four "sweetheart" grandchildren, Mykenzie, James, Logan & Shelby. One great-granddaughter, Harley Paige. One brother, Jim Parris of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. And one special friend who was loved as a sister, Barbara Jones of Somerset, Ky. Judy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy is also preceded in death by one sister Connie Brown and one brother Ray Scott Parris.

In early adulthood Judy worked as a receptionist but once married found her true calling as a caregiver and settled in her role of wife and mother. Don & Judy raised their family in Winchester, Ky for 15 years until moving to Science Hill, Ky.

Judy was most recently a member of the Northside Baptist Church of Science Hill, KY. She was proud to be a daughter of the One True King and has patiently waited to join Him. Those that knew Judy knew her for her strength, resilience, kindness, and love. 

Judy was a precious soul who will forever be loved and deeply missed by all those who knew her.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Hampton officiating.

Visitation will be after 4:30 PM Friday, December 1, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Inurnment will follow at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideons Memorial Bible Plan.
