Joyce Sutton

Joyce Fern Robbins Sutton, age 84, of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at St. Joseph Main Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Joyce was born on May 2, 1939, to the late Herbert and Bertha Poynter Robbins. She was a member of the Providence Church of Christ. Joyce was a homemaker and farmer's wife.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin Sutton (whom she married on February 15, 1956); three daughters, Fern (Roger) Bruner; Pam (Bobby) Woodall, both of Somerset, KY; Jan Sutton of Georgetown, KY; five sisters-in-law; June Hall of Somerset, KY; Charlotte Robbins of Williamsburg, OH; Pauline Tanner of Loveland, OH; Eleanor Lowell Lovins of Brooks, KY; and Charlotte Sutton of Somerset, KY; five grandchildren; Jessica (Brian) Lau, Brittany (Derrick) Moore, Emily (David) Hankins, Michael Bruner, Sarah (Will) Eversole; and eight great-grandchildren, Trager Eversole, Skyler Eversole, Ariella Eversole, Micah Lau, Noah Hankins, Ethan Hankins, Breanna Moore and Nicholas Moore.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers; Edwards Robbins, Denton Robbins, Bill Robbins; Sylvester Robbins and Jerry Robbins; and four sisters; Lois Baize, Glenda Miller, Wilma Jean Kennedy, and Geraldine Muse.
