Josie Leigh

Josie Leigh, 93, of Campbellsville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the University of Louisville Medical Center.

Josie was born on September 6, 1931 to the late Jordan & Martha Jane (Patterson) Bugg in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. She found great joy in shopping and collecting antiques. She also had a deep love for dancing and took pleasure in dining out, especially in the company of loved ones.

She is survived by her sons, James Leigh and Tony & (Jill) Leigh; grandchildren, Daniel, Jim, Adrienne, Kristin, Carrie Ann, and Timothy; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Carter, Jackson, Mason, Caleb, Tyler, Hudson, and Ella; and several siblings.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Leigh.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Keith Bottoms officiating.

Burial will be at Eubank Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until time for services.
