Johnny Wendell Tucker, 85, of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
He was born on April 18, 1935 in Keno, Kentucky; son of the late Lowell & Sarah (Cassada) Tucker.
He is survived by two daughters, Kim Adams of Somerset and Kathy McDonald Choate & (Ken Choate) of Eubank; three brothers, Robert & (Mildred) Tucker of Cincinnati, Karma Lee & (Ethel) Tucker of Somerset, and Terry Alan & (Joan) Tucker of Somerset; four sisters, Mary Young, Ellen & (Floyd) Roberts, Fayrene & (Curtis) Mayfield, and Stella & (Jerry) Harrison, all of Somerset; six grandchildren, Johnnie & (Beth) Adams, David Langford, Hassan Radwan, Tara Floyd, Kimber & (Joe) Keeney, and Kamryn Harper; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wilda Jean (Mayfield) Tucker; two sons, Johnny Mark Tucker & Wendell Eugene Tucker; a brother, Charles Edward Tucker; two sisters, Juanita Stanton & Barbara Wells; and a grandchild, Chelsie Bryant Phelps.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Good Hope Cemetery with Bro. Jason Young officiating.
Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Good Hope Baptist Church.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
