John A. Surber, 92, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018.
He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 30, 1925, son of the late Roscoe and Rebecca Jane Lowe Surber. He was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Estesburg Church of Christ. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.
He is survived by two sons, Lester & (Linda) Surber and Denver Surber, all of Eubank, one grandson, Doug & (Gina) Surber and two great-grandchildren, Carlie Keller and Evan Surber.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Evelyn Bishop, his parents, one brother, Denton Surber and two sisters, Mary Grable and Margaret Jordan.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Hill officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
