John Major Mays
April 9, 1964 — August 27, 2020
John Major Mays, 56, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 9, 1964; son of Wilma Jean (Head) Hubbard and the late Walter Martin Mays. He was a Heating and Air Technician and a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother and Stepfather, Wilma Jean Head & (Winford) Hubbard of Somerset; a brother, Kevin Martin & (Marsha) Mays of Montgomery, Ohio; an uncle and aunt, Jerry & (Sally) Head of Liberty Township, Ohio; three nephews, Richie, Andy and Brodie Mays.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, with Bro. Johnny Adamson officiating.
Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
