JoAnn Reece Hargis

JoAnn Reece Hargis, 63, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019.

She was born in Stanford, Kentucky on July 14, 1955, daughter of the late John Morgan and Iva Williams Reece. She was a beautician and a member of Eubank Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, James David "J.D." Hargis of Somerset, one grandchild, Cash Hargis, two brothers, Landis & (Sharon) Reece of Somerset and Harold Frey & (Clarice) Reece of Chicago, IL, one sister, Delores & (Larry) Wesley of Louisville as well as several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Reece of Somerset.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rexford Reece and Darrell Reece and one sister, Linda Reece.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday at Morris & Hislope.

The family requests donations be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
