Joan Bennett Maxey, 72, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018.
She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on February 19, 1946, daughter of the late Eva Ruth Bennett and Clovis Amburgy. She was retired from Palm Beach and a member of Eubank Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play ball and loved going to church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Maxey, one son, Kevin Maxey & (Beverly), one daughter, Kimberly Watkins & (Donnie Miller), grandchildren, Olivia Maxey & (Brandon Hines), Ricky Maxey, Michelle Burton, Keshia Lawless, Waylon Duff, Emily Jones & (Nic),Dakota Lawless, Brooke Watkins and Peyton Watkins, great-grandchildren, Natalie Hines, Nora Hines, Alexis Pitman, Alyssa Burton, Zoey Stockton, Landon Lawless, Mason Lawless and Karter Lawless, Rilee Combs, Treyton Jones, Hayden Jones and Easton Jones and special friends, Regina Warren and Kristie Dungan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ricky Maxey and one brother, James Wayne Bennett.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Hughes and Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in Pulaski Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
