Jimmie Ray Moore

Jimmie Ray Moore, 77, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his residence.

He was born in California on January 6, 1946; son of the late Eugene and Alice (McCracken) Moore. He was a retired US Navy Veteran, and serviced his country in Civil Service as well. He gained joy from spending time on Twitter ("X") and was a big movie buff.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Moore; two sons, Jason Carr and Eric Carr; and three sisters, Linda Moore, Karen Moore, and Sharon Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Alice (McCracken) Moore.

In observance of Jimmie's wishes private services will be held at Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
