Jewell Lefler

Jewell Lefler, 88, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.She was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on August 20, 1929, daughter of the late Marshall and Grace Albertson Bertram. She was a Walmart Associate and a member of Ansel Baptist Church.She is survived by one son, Jeff Lefler, of Science Hill, five daughters, Patricia Teeple of Danville, Barbara Dick of London, Mary Hall of Science Hill, Marcia Phelps of Somerset and Beverly Cox of Science Hill, one brother, Wallace Bertram of Acworth, GA, six grandchildren, Jeremy Hall, Kenneth Gumm III, Carrie Cundiff, Amanda Dick, Kyle Lefler and Jarod Cox and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer O. Lefler, who died on June 27, 2010 and her parents.A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte officiating.Burial will be in the Lefler Family Cemetery in the Pulaski community.Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pulaski County Humane Society.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
