Jeffrey Bryan Craig, 57, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Jeff was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 23, 1968; son of the late Johnny L. and Mary Louise (Miller) Craig.
Jeff was a man whose life was rooted in faith, family, and the land he loved. A devoted member of Double Springs Baptist Church, and in later years a faithful attendee of Refuge Baptist Church, Jeff lived with a quiet strength and a servant's heart.
Farming was his passion-especially working with cattle-and he found joy in the rhythm of caring for the land and the animals. After retiring from South Kentucky RECC, Jeff poured his time into the things that brought him happiness. He was a master at the smoker, known for filling the air with the mouthwatering aroma of turkey, ham, and bologna. If it had wheels, Jeff could fix it, and he was never happier than when tinkering in his shop.
He had a soft spot for Dodge Ram trucks and John Deere tractors, symbols of the hardworking life he embraced. Jeff also loved the open air-whether camping under the stars or riding horseback across a quiet field. Those who knew him will remember not only his skills and hobbies, but the way he lived-genuine, humble, and with a deep appreciation for the simple joys that make a life full.
He is survived by his wife, Alice (Coffey) Craig, whom he married on April 28, 2007; his sons, Joshua Chase Craig, Janson Cole & (Megan) Craig, and Jadon Cameron Craig; daughter, Kendra Mattea Corder & (Jason Gibson); and his Australian Sheppherd best friend, Jaxx.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny L. and Mary Louise (Miller) Craig.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Nix and Bro. Ron Shepperd officiating.
Burial will be in Baron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Friday, August 16, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and after 9 AM Saturday, until time for services.
