Janie Bullock

Janie Lynn (Gossett) Bullock, age 66, of Somerset passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

Janie was born on May 7, 1953 in Trimble, Kentucky to the late Dale & Anna (Munsey) Gossett. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She was a special lady & great cook, who helped anyone in need.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Bullock, to whom she was united in marriage on May 28, 1971; three children, Michael Lee Bullock of Somerset, Tracy & (Charissa) Bullock of Somerset, and Amy & (Donnie) Phillips of Somerset; six grandchildren, Tiffany & (Nick) Murphy of Somerset, Jordan & (Ivy) Lockard of Somerset, and Keaston, Maverik, Gavin, & Emmalee Bullock of Somerset; two brothers, Carter Lee Gossett of Whiteland, Indiana & Jerry Michael Gossett of Somerset; two sisters, Betty & (Rual) Henderson of Junction City, Kentucky and Shirley & (Charles) Dixon of Science Hill; as well as several nieces, nephews, & cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dewey & Harold Gossett; & one sister, Brenda Sue Carr.

A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
