Jamie Ledford

Jamie Ledford, 38, of Eubank, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020.

He was born in Harlan Co., Kentucky on October 18, 1981; son of the late Hiram Ledford, Jr. and Francine Wilson Ledford. He enjoyed working at All Boats for Dennis & Teresa Wells, also he enjoyed working at Circle K. He attended Dungarvin Adult Day Care program with Connie Hunt. He enjoyed dancing, listening to country music, and going to church. Jamie loved everyone, and he in return was loved by all who knew him. He loved his church family, and especially the candy men at the front door. He was also an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan.

He is survived by five sisters, Teresa Blevins & (Robert) Closplint, KY., Anita Short of Evarts, KY., Clercia Moore & (James) of Augusta, GA., Tammy Caudill & (Lester Wade) of Cotes, KY., and Andrea Ledford; two brothers, Robert & (Lisa) Ledford of Ft. Wayne, IN., and Danny & (Carol) Ledford of Closplint, KY.; his foster home parents of 16 years, Stanley & Vickie Chaney; Sissy, Jeanne & (Jason), and the girls; and a Brother, Shane New & (Tonya), and the boys and girls; He loved his peepaw, Arnold Larkin and his baby James, who was a special friend to him.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Thaddeus Eubank officiating.

Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
