Howard New

Howard New, 77, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019.

He was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on December 29, 1941, son of the late Marvin and Jane New. He was owner of Neva's Market and a member of Eubank Baptist Church. He opened doors to over 180 children during his 28 years as a foster parent.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Bowling New, whom he married on September 20, 1960, children, Penny Jones & (Bill), Preston New & (Stephanie), Darren New & (LaDonna), Stephanie New & (Dakota), Samantha New, Paisley New, Leeann New and Holly New, grandchildren, Sam Jones, Nicholas New & (McKala), Alexis New & (Brandon), William New, Maddie New and Cecilia New, great-grandchildren, Ember Jo Lee New and Kaysen Zane Lorman, special nieces, Melynda Elder, Kristi Lay and Kelli New and special friends, Roman Ramirez, Sandra Utrera, Maria and Romeo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Carlos, Harold, Carmel, Estill and Bob and sisters, Wilma Lodeana and Luzetta.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, January 7, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds and Bro. Scott Hughes officiating.

Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darrell New, Brandon Lorman, William New, Nicholas New, Dylan Elder and Roman Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Jones, Dakota Bowling, Tony Bowling and Matt Elder.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
