Hettie (Day) Thompson, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Florence Park Care Center.

She was born in Blackey, Kentucky on December 31, 1927; daughter of the late Lloyd & Louetta (Caudill) Day. She was a homemaker and member of Northern New Home Old Regular Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Randol Thompson of Carlisle, Ohio, Ronald Lee Thompson of Griffin, Georgia, & Richard Dale Thompson of Eubank, Kentucky; a daughter, Mary Louise Reynolds of Beavercreek, Ohio; two sisters, Margaret Samms of Burnside & Orene Correll of Somerset; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman C. Thompson; two sons, Ralph Edward & David Wayne Thompson; and twelve siblings.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Bryant officiating.

Burial will be at Clear Fork Cemetery in Waynesburg.

Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Friday, July 31, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
