Herbert Isaacs, 73, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on July 20, 1944, son of the late Callaway and Mallie England Isaacs. He was a coal miner and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Boshers Isaacs of Nancy, three sons, Joseph C. Isaacs & (April) of Somerset, Ronald Marcum and Harold Marcum, both of Nancy, grandchildren, Gina Rose & (Dustin) of Hopkinsville, KY, Joshua Marcum of Lexington, KY, Melaine Noble & (Johnny), Tiffany Jackson and Enoch Jackson, all of Somerset, Laura Kidd and Roger Kidd, II, both of Beatyville, KY, great-grandchildren, Gabriella Rose, Austin Rose and Dryden Noble, sisters, Mabel Baxter and Dora Gross & (John), both of Clover Bottom, KY and Freda Van Winkle of Sand Gap, KY and brothers, Clarence Isaacs & (Gwen) of Clover Bottom, KY and Dave Isaacs & (Sudie) of Big Hill, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Hubert Isaacs, Bob Isaacs and Callaway Isaacs, sister, Charlene Johnson, mother-in-law, Mary Jones Boshers, father-in-law, Hiram Boshers and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Marcum.
Private services will be held at a later date.
