Helen Louise Wesley

Helen Louise Wesley, 71, of Science Hill, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born April 21, 1951 in Letcher County; daughter of the late Raymond & Wilma Jean (Ison) Fields. She loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren. She had a very strong work ethic and served our community as a waitress for many years. She was a very sweet and kind hearted soul that never saw a stranger.

She is survived by her daughter, Angel Wesley of Science Hill; two sisters, Vivian & (Jack) Dick and Regina Fields, both of Science Hill; five grandchildren, Kesley Snyder, Taylor Wesley, Austin Williamson, Tristan Barron, & Devin Wesley; a nephew, Rodney Dick; and a niece, Tiffany & (Liz) Dick.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Wesley; and a grandchild, Nicholas Wesley.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hardin officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Helen Louise Wesley Memorial Fund.
